GEORGE PATSIOTIS
GUITAR

George Patsiotis is a graduate of the Department of Music Science & Art, and holder of the master's degree "Jazz Music and Improvisation with New Technologies" - Department of Music Studies (UOA). He has a degree in classical guitar from the Contemporary Conservatory of Attica and a diploma in jazz electric guitar from the "Philippos Nakas" Conservatory.

 

   He has attended masterclasses with Ricardo Gallén, Susana Prieto, Sergio & Odair Assad, Milcho Leviev, Antoine Boyer and has taken guitar lessons with Michalis Kontaxakis, Jim Politis, Giorgos Krommydas, Kosmas Stefanidis and Vasilis Kotsias.

  George has worked in various jazz projects: Jasm, Troi Mat, Dominant project, Suenos Gitanos, Guitar stars, Nica's dream, Jyka Ahola/ Athens Connection. He has participated in radio and television shows, as well as in major festivals (Djangofest Athens, Petit Paris d'Athènes, Volos International guitar festival, Cosmopolis festival, etc). He regularly records as a guitarist, for Greek and international artists.
