GEORGE PATSIOTIS
GUITAR

• George Patsiotis is a graduate of the Department of Music Science & Art and holds of a Master's degree in Jazz Music and Improvisation with New Technologies from the Department of Music Studies at the University of Athens (UOA). He also holds a degree in classical guitar from the Contemporary Conservatory of Attica and a diploma in jazz electric guitar from the "Philippos Nakas" Conservatory.

 

• He has attended masterclasses with Ricardo Gallén, Susana Prieto, Sergio & Odair Assad, Milcho Leviev, Antoine Boyer and has studied guitar with Michalis Kontaxakis, Jim Politis, Giorgos Krommydas, Kosmas Stefanidis and Vasilis Kotsias.

• George has been involved in various jazz projects, including Jasm, Troi Mat, Dominant project, Sueños Gitanos, Guitar stars, Nica's dream and the Jyka Ahola/ Athens Connection. He has appeared on radio and television and has performed at major festivals such as Djangofest Athens, Petit Paris d'Athènes, Volos International guitar festival and the Cosmopolis festival. He is also an active recording artist, collaborating regularly with both Greek and international musicians.
